Pentagono

Orcia Sangiovese D.O.C.

Five sides, five elements, a perfect geometric balance where nothing is left to chance. Pentagono is born from the harmony of unique factors: stony soils, ideal sun exposure, altitude, the wind, and the hand of the winemaker. When these forces come together in perfect balance, they create an Orcia Sangiovese of remarkable precision and character.

Pentagono is conceived as a work of liquid architecture, where every element—from freshness to structure—fits seamlessly into the next, offering a tasting experience that is complex, multi-layered, and deeply captivating.

In the glass, it displays a brilliant ruby red colour with vibrant reflections that speak of its exceptional purity. On the nose, it unfolds as an ever-evolving mosaic of aromas, while on the palate it reveals extraordinary precision and balance. The finish is harmonious and refined, leaving a savoury, fresh, and remarkably persistent impression.

Pentagono is our contemporary interpretation of Sangiovese, created with deep respect for its historic roots while embracing a modern vision.
