Piaggione
Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C.
There are vineyards blessed with a rare privilege: to bask in the sun from dawn until dusk, caressed by constant breezes that keep the grapes healthy, balanced, and intensely expressive. From this perfect combination of warmth, altitude, and clay-rich slopes comes Piaggione.
Piaggione embodies the radiant character and refined power of Montalcino. It is an exclusive selection crafted by the Terzuoli family from carefully chosen vineyards where Sangiovese Grosso reaches perfect ripeness, developing exceptional depth, structure, and complexity.
In the glass, it displays a deep, vibrant ruby red colour with remarkable intensity.
On the palate, Piaggione is generous and full of character. Its rich structure and enveloping warmth are beautifully balanced by vibrant mineral freshness, giving the wine elegance and lift. The tannins are dense and refined, the result of meticulous ageing in oak casks that has softened every edge while preserving its strength. The finish is long, savoury, and majestic.
Piaggione is a wine of unmistakable personality. It is made for sharing—for gathering around the table, enjoying traditional cuisine, and celebrating the simple pleasure of authentic conviviality.
